We leaned into what the location gave us: sun-bleached concrete, hazy hills rolling behind them, and soft natural light. For the interviews, each of them spoke straight down the lens. No tricks, no distance. When someone looks you in the eye and tells you the truth, the camera’s only job is to listen.
