Human Rights Watch SB 1391

Kids make mistakes. That’s what being a kid is.

This campaign for Human Rights Watch backed California’s SB 1391, which stopped 14- and 15-year-olds from being tried as adults. The idea of a 15-year-old locked up alongside grown adult offenders should stop anyone cold.

We made this to put a human face on that question. It was an honor to use the camera for something that mattered.
