Romer Hell's Kitchen Hero Film

Everybody’s got the same advice about Times Square a short walk a block over and the whole thing flips. The neon fades, Hell’s Kitchen kicks in, and suddenly you’re somewhere you actually want to be. Dive bars. Late-night kitchens. Theater kids off the clock. Corner stores that never close.

Romer sits right on that line, at 52nd and Eighth, and it plays like the neighborhood’s front door. Grab a coffee downstairs, get loose at So & So’s when the piano starts, crash upstairs, and do it all again.

That’s what I wanted on camera: fast, loud, and real, a side of Midtown most people walk right past. Not a place to avoid. A place to hang.
