Kimpton Hotel Hero Spot

Kimpton named this hotel after theta waves, the brain waves of deep relaxation. Then they put it in the Theater District. Bold move.

My job was to capture both sides: a hotel built to slow you down, and a neighborhood that never will. So we filled it with young couples, handed them the keys, and I chased them with the camera from Café Otto in the lobby all the way up to Bar Sprezzatura, the Positano-style rooftop, spritzes in hand and the skyline wrapped around them.

A calm hotel, fun talent, and a rooftop that turned every setup into a chill party. Theta waves, our way.
