Jelly Roll "A Year For A Life"

I’ve known Jelly Roll for years. We met through a mutual friend in Nashville, long before the sold out arenas.

Every time we hung out, he’d tell me that someday he was gonna blow up, and I’d be filming him for a magazine. That was about ten years ago. Neither of us knew what that would even look like.

Fast forward, and here we are.

I’ve never met anyone more dedicated to his craft or more true to his word. He’s honest, he’s real, and he does exactly what he says he’s gonna do. This piece follows his weight-loss journey and his commitment to health and fitness, and getting to tell that story after years of hearing him call it was surreal.

It was an honor and a blast to work with him again, real shit.
